About Me
Hello, I'm Fernando, also known as "Fer." I'm a 31-year-old passionate web developer originally from Mexico, where I was lovingly named after my beloved grandfather, who raised me as his own son.
Thirteen years ago, I embarked on an exciting new chapter by moving to the United States. It was here in Houston that I met the love of my life, Jasmine. Together, we are the proud parents of our charming son, Ignacio (affectionately known as "Nachito"), our eldest, Don Guapo (formally Alejandro Gomez), and two adorable four-legged companions: Biscuit "El Zorro Negro" (the black fox) and our friendly Beagle, Bagel.
My professional passion lies in front-end development, where I thrive on creating clean, efficient code and elegant architectural solutions. I'm deeply committed to delivering exceptional web experiences and staying at the cutting edge of modern technology.
Outside of work, I lead a vibrant life filled with diverse interests. You'll find me hanging out with friends, tackling algorithm challenges, attending coding meetups, or strategizing my next chess move. I love cooking homemade boba for my family, skating through Houston's streets, and exploring the city's incredible restaurant scene. I'm always hunting for hidden culinary gems and believe firmly in lifelong learning through personal projects, experimenting with new technologies, and diving into coding books that inspire and keep me ahead in this ever-evolving field.
